Deposit Limits

How limits work in practice: If you set a weekly deposit limit of ৳5,000 on a Monday and deposit ৳3,000 on Wednesday, you will only be able to deposit a further ৳2,000 before the following Monday. Any attempt to deposit more than the remaining allowance will be declined by the Platform, and you will receive a clear notification explaining why.

  • Setting a lower limit: Takes effect immediately. You cannot deposit more than the new (lower) amount from the moment you save the change.
  • Increasing a limit: A cooling-off period of 7 days applies before a higher limit becomes active. This is a deliberate safeguard to prevent impulsive decisions made during a losing streak or a heightened emotional state.
  • Removing a limit entirely: Requires a 30-day cooling-off period, during which the existing limit remains enforced. This extended period ensures the decision to remove controls is considered and deliberate.

bdgamer strongly encourages every player to set a deposit limit at registration, before placing a single bet. Spending within a pre-agreed budget is the single most reliable habit that distinguishes recreational gambling from problem gambling.


Time-Out & Cool-Off Features

Sometimes a player simply needs a short break — perhaps after a particularly long session, a disappointing result on a BPL match, or simply to re-evaluate their gambling habits without committing to a full self-exclusion. bdgamer's time-out feature is designed exactly for these situations.

Time-outs are activated immediately upon request and cannot be lifted early. Once the chosen period expires, your account is automatically restored to normal status. You will not receive any promotional communications from bdgamer during an active time-out, and you will not be incentivised to return before the period ends.

Session reminders: In addition to time-outs, bdgamer displays on-screen session duration reminders. After 60 minutes of continuous play, a non-intrusive notification will inform you of the time elapsed in your current session. After 120 minutes, a more prominent prompt will encourage you to take a break. These reminders cannot be permanently dismissed.

To activate a time-out, navigate to Account Settings → Responsible Gaming → Time-Out in your bdgamer account, or contact the support team via live chat and request a time-out verbally. Support staff are trained to process these requests without delay and without attempting to dissuade you from taking the break.


Self-Exclusion Programme

Self-exclusion is the strongest player protection tool available on bdgamer. When you self-exclude, your account is permanently closed for the duration of the exclusion period. You will be unable to log in, register a new account using the same identity details, or receive any marketing communications from bdgamer. This is a serious, binding commitment — not a casual pause.

Self-Exclusion Is Enforced Without Exception

Once a self-exclusion is active, bdgamer will not accept any request to lift it before the exclusion period expires, regardless of the reason given.
